Making kind words envelopes & discussing the topic passion

Last Sunday we made our kind words envelopes. All of the girls showed creativity as you can see from the photos bellow. Afterwards, Kathy, the volunteer in Gevgelija helped us discuss the topic passion & we all had chance to share what we're passionate about. All of that was actually preparing for writing an essay on topic "My life-my passion" for 2011 National Essay Contest. To sum it up, we had another meeting full with fun and creativity!

Self-esteem & body image lesson

We planned a fun first educational meeting for our girls filled with activities they could participate in & are happy to say that they all did. We explained them what self-esteem is and how to keep it on a high level, which turned out to be not  that necessary since most of our girls seemed confident with their bodies and aware that perfection can't be reached. Anyways, they were all satisfied with the meeting and promised to show up next week too!

First meeting for our new members & Halloween party!

October 30th.
We had our first meeting for the new members and Halloween party. About 10 NEW girls showed up and we are expecting to see them again tomorrow. They seemed to be having fun and we believe they were satisfied with what club GLOW Gevgelija offered them! On the first meeting for them we had ice-breaking games and games connected to Halloween. The officers and the last year members went to the library (where the meeting was held) 2 hours earlier to prepare everything. Our next meeting is about self-esteem and body image.
